The study examines how the use of innovation and technology transfer supports sustainable economic development in developing and emerging nations. Both qualitative interviews and analysis of secondary data are used together in this study. Participants in this study come from policymaking, business and academic sectors in both developed and developing parts of the world. We used a purposive method to choose 50 participants, made up of 15 industry leaders, 15 scholars and 20 policymakers. The main data came from semistructured interviews, while additional information was taken from case studies, industry studies and official government writings. The numeric data was studied with simple statistics to discover patterns and connections and the qualitative data was processed using thematic analysis to identify similar themes. According to the study, those countries with well-linked public, private and academic groups generally achieve better success in sustainable development and technology transfer. Still, problems such as weak intellectual property rights, poor infrastructure and a low ability to use new technologies hold back economic growth. The study shows that, to boost technology transfer results and maintain a strong economy, there should be greater focus on innovation infrastructure, strong public-private partnerships and new policy measures. The study advises that (1) national innovation hubs should be built, (2) both research and development incentives and intellectual property regulations should be improved, (3) the ability of institutions to absorb technology should increase and (4) collaboration should take place internationally by signing bilateral and multilateral technology transfer agreements. All these strategies are necessary for helping development become more sustainable through innovation.
