The landscape of electronic music has undergone a profound transformation, primarily driven by rapid advancements in technology, including artificial intelligence, virtual instruments, and digital synthesizers. The central problem addressed in this paper is the need to understand how these technological innovations influence music production, genre evolution, and global music consumption. The thesis statement posits that technology not only reshapes the creative processes in electronic music but also redefines listener engagement and industry dynamics. Employing a mixed-methods approach, this study integrates qualitative analysis of historical literature on electronic music with quantitative data on current trends, facilitating a comprehensive examination of the field. The theoretical framework is grounded in cultural studies and technology adoption theories, allowing for an exploration of the interplay between technological advancement and cultural shifts. The paper concludes that these technological developments not only drive genre innovation but also challenge traditional models of music consumption and distribution, ultimately shaping the future trajectory of the music industry.
