This study is about the harmonious relationship between music education and environmental sustainability in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State in post-colonial Africa. The study is guided by five research objectives. The design of the study is survey. The method used is a mixed methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and content analysis. Data is gathered from student musicians, and community members, as well from Local educational institutions and environmental organization. Findings reveal that there is a strong connection between music and environmental awareness, when there is increased engagement in activities among students and the community at large. Successful initiatives such as concerts and festival have brought environmental discussion at the community and policy levels. In conclusion, integrating music education and environmental sustainability in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local government area has presented a promising and dynamic structure. Valuable insight for Educational policy makers community leaders, and environmental advocates are prooffered, in order to harness music as a tool for ecological consciousness. The harmony achieved between music and the environment in this oil producing region provides a model that can be applied globally to inspire meaningful change for the future.
