This article demonstrates that the concept of discourse is an important tool for communication and influence in society. It requires a deep understanding of its nature and its various applications. The study of discourse helps us understand how language is used to construct meanings and influence audiences, making it a vital field for study and analysis. The article examines the concept of discourse and its definitions from both linguistic and terminological perspectives, with particular emphasis on the development of this concept in the humanities and social sciences. It also explains the different types of discourse, such as demagogic discourse, electoral discourse, religious discourse, and advertising discourse, while highlighting the distinctive characteristics of each type, In addition to the Strategies of Influence in Discourse.
