This study aims to identify and analyze the main linguistic tools used by politicians in their discourse at the level of vocabulary and phrases, and to explain their role in influencing and directing the audience. It proceeds from the premise that language is not a neutral means of transmitting information, but rather a tool of power through which facts can be distorted and specific perceptions constructed in the recipient's mind. The research adopts a descriptive-analytical critical method, based on the principles of Critical Discourse Analysis by Norman Fairclough. The study concludes by classifying ten main linguistic tools: persuasion, rationalization, obligation, bias, presuppositions, condemnation, generalization, vagueness, exaggeration, and euphemism. It concludes that understanding these tools is essential to revealing the mechanisms of discursive domination.
